SAMPLE CONNECTION DIAGRAM INSTALLATION Perform the following steps to install this matrix into your home theater system. 1. Ensure that all equipment to be connected is powered off and unplugged from its power source. 2. Place or mount the matrix in its intended location. 3.

4. Using a High Speed HDMI® Cable (not included), plug one end into one of the IN ports on the matrix, then plug the other end into the HDMI output on one of your HDMI video source devices. Repeat for up to three additional HDMI video source devices.

For example, if you have 4K, 1080p, and 720p displays connected, the maximum common video resolution is 720p, so you need to set the EDID DIP switches to set the maximum video resolution to 720p. The following table shows the various DIP switch settings for each of the different video and audio combinations.

RS-232 CONTROL This matrix can be controlled from a computer using an RS-232 serial data connection. When you make the physical serial connection, you will be able to see the matrix on your PC as a USB device. If it is not already powered on, press the POWER button on the front panel to power on the matrix.
