The bed isn’t working. I’ve changed the batteries in the remote, unplugged it and replugged it in, checked to make sure all cords were plugged in, tried repairing the remote 5 times and nothing. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but at this point I have an overpriced bed frame.

If the MotoSleep ZG Series bed is not working after changing the remote batteries and checking all connections, follow these troubleshooting steps:

1. Make sure the motors are not overused. Do not operate them for more than 2 minutes in an 18-minute period (10% duty cycle).
2. Check for any obstruction in the bed mechanism. Elevate the bed and remove any obstruction found.
3. If the head or foot section elevates but does not return to flat, ensure the bed is not too close to the wall or that the headboard is not pressing against the mattress. Adjust the bed position if needed.
4. If the remote control is not working, it may need to be re-paired. Unplug the power cord, remove 9V batteries if installed, then press and hold the SELECT button until “PAIR” appears on the remote. Plug the power cord back in. A beep will confirm pairing.
5. Check for possible radio frequency interference. Wait a few seconds and press the button again. Make sure to press the lift buttons squarely and accurately.
