• Lassen Sie den Akku und das Ladegerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt während des Ladens.
• Versuchen Sie niemals das Ladegerät auseinander zu nehmen.
• V erpolen Sie niemals die positiven und negativen Anschlüsse. Ein Verpolen beschädigt den Akku und kann
das Ladegerät beschädigen.
• Lassen Sie niemals Minderjährige ohne direkte Aufsicht Erwachsener Akkus laden.
• Lassen Sie niemals den Akku oder das Ladegerät fallen.
• Versuchen Sie niemals tiefentladene oder beschädigte Akkus zu laden.

• Laden Sie keine Akkus dessen Kabel beschädigt oder gekürzt sind.
• Lassen Sie zu keiner Zeit Akkus in Kontakt mit Feuchtigkeit kommen.
• L aden Sie keine Akkus in extremen kalten oder heiße Umgebungen oder in direkter Sonneneinstrahlung
(empfohlene Umgebungstemperatur 10°–27°)
• L aden Sie nur wiederaufladbare Akkus. Das Ladegerät kann keine Batterien wie zum Beispiel Heavy Duty,
Alkaline oder Zink- Kohle Batterien laden.
• Schließen Sie immer den roten Pluspol (+) und den schwarzen Minuspol (-) korrekt am Ladegerät an.
• T rennen Sie Akku und Ladegerät immer nach dem Laden und lassen Sie das Ladegerät vor dem nächsten
Einsatz abkühlen.
• Überprüfen Sie vor dem Laden immer den Akku auf Beschädigungen.
• Beenden Sie bei Fehlfunktionen sofort alle Prozesse und kontakten den Service von Horizon Hobby.
• H alten Sie das Ladegerät und Akkus fern von wärmeleitenden Materialien, da diese sich erwärmen
könnten.
• H alten Sie den Ladevorgang immer unter Beobachtung. Halten Sie einen Feuermelder und Feuerlöscher
stets in Reichweite.
• S tellen Sie sicher dass Sie Akkus stets nach Ihren Spezifikationen entsprechend laden. Durch ein falsch
gewähltes Ladeprogramm kann der Akku und das Ladegerät beschädigt werden. Falsche Einstellungen
können zur Überladung, Feuer und Explosionen führen.
• S chließen Sie zuerst das Ladegerät am Netz an und verbinden dann den Akku mit dem Ladegerät um
einen Kurzschluß zu vermeiden. Trennen Sie Verbindungen in umgekehrter Reihenfolge nach dem Laden.
• Schließen Sie nicht mehr als einen Akkupack zur Zeit an das Ladegerät an.
• Überprüfen Sie konstant die Akkutemperatur während des Ladens.
• B eenden Sie sofort den Ladevorgang wenn das Ladegerät oder der Akku zu heiß zum Anfassen wird oder
seine Form verändert.

With the transmitter on, turn on your vehicle by sliding the switch to the "On" position (located on the bottom

of the chassis). If the wheels spin, adjust the "TH. Trim" knob located to the lower right of the steering wheel un-
til they stop, to go forward pull the trigger back. If you should need reverse, wait for the model to stop then push
the trigger forward. When going forward, the model should move in a straight line. If not, adjust the "ST.Trim" so
that it tracks in a straight line without having to turn the steering wheel. After you are finished running, turn the
Losi Micro 4x4 off FIRST by sliding the switch to the "OFF" position. After the model has been turned off, turn off
the transmitter by sliding the switch to the "OFF" position.

• C onnectez toujours le câble de charge au chargeur en premier, connectez ensuite la batterie pour éviter
tout court-circuit entre les prises. Suivez le processus inverse pour la déconnexion.
• Vérifiez en permanence la température de la batterie lorsqu'elle est en charge.
• A rrêtez immédiatement la charge si le chargeur ou la batterie deviennent chauds au toucher ou change
de forme (gonfle) au cours du processus de charge.

• Non permettere ai bambini di caricare le batterie.
• Non sottoporre a urti violenti le batterie e il caricabatterie.
• Non tentare di caricare batterie esaurite o danneggiate.
• Non tentare di caricare pacchi di batterie contenenti tipi differenti di batterie.
• Non caricare batterie con i cavetti spelati o danneggiati.
• Non lasciare le batterie a contatto con l'umidità.

The following is an overview of the various functions and adjustments found on the Micro 4x4 radio system.
Since the Micro 4x4 operates on a radio signal you control, it is important for you to read and understand about
all of these functions and adjustments before driving.
The ESC/Receiver
1. On/Off switch: Powers the receiver and ESC.
2. Bind Button: Used to "bind" the receiver to the transmitter.
3. Steering Port: Where the steering servo(s) plugs in (note wire connection order).
4. Motor Lead: Connects to the wire leads from the motor.
5. Indicator Light: Shows that a frequency/channel is being received.
6. Battery Lead: Connects to the battery pack for power.

Der Empfänger/elektronische Drehzahlregler
1. Ein/Ausschalter: Setzt den Empfänger/ESC in Betrieb.
2. Taste „Bind" (Koppeln): Verbindet den Empfänger mit dem Sender.
3. Lenkanschluss: Hier werden der/die Lenk-Servo(s) eingesteckt (auf Reihenfolge der Kabel achten).
4. Motorkabel: Wird an die Kabel vom Motor angeschlossen.
5. Anzeigeleuchte: Zeigt an, dass eine Frequenz bzw. ein Kanal empfangen wird.
6. Akkukabel: Verbindung zur Stromversorgung durch das Akkupack.

Le CEV/récepteur
1. Interrupteur M/A (On/Off switch) : Alimente le récepteur et le contrôleur électronique de vitesse (CEV).
2. Bouton d'affectation : Sert à « affecter » (bind) le récepteur à l'émetteur.
3. Port de direction (Steering port) : Endroit auquel se connecte le(s) servo(s) de direction (notez l'ordre de
branchement des câbles).
4. Câble du moteur (Motor Lead) : Est relié aux câbles en provenance du moteur.
5. Témoin lumineux : Signale le réception d'une fréquence/voie.
6. Câble de batterie (Battery Lead) : Est relié au pack de batteries pour l'alimentation.

Chassis Tuning

The following are simple adjustments and easily maintained settings to assure proper operation and perfor-
mance. When making any adjustments, do so in small increments. Always check for other parts of the chassis
that are affected.
Center Transmission Slipper
The Micro 4x4 is equipped with a slipper device that provides protection for the transmission. The slipper is
primarily used to help absorb sudden impacts on the drivetrain and is set from the factory and sealed by the
gear cover. If the slipper loosens (motor sounds like its moving but the vehicle doesn't move), remove the center
transmission and cover per the exploded view. Adjustment is made by turning the adjustment nut clockwise (to
the right) to reduce the slip.

Plug in the battery lead into the speed controller
lead and replace the body. Secure the body with the
included body clips.
ALWAYS turn on the transmitter first by sliding the
switch "ON". The small red and green lights above
the switch should both light up. If not, check for low
or incorrectly installed batteries.
Setting the Gear Mesh
The motor screws should be slightly loose. Slide the
motor forward allowing the pinion gear to mesh with
the spur gear. Snug (not tighten) the bottom motor
screw and try rotating the spur back and forth. There
should be a slight bit or movement before the motor
is forced to turn over. If not, pull the top of the motor
back slightly and recheck. If there is too much slop
between the gears, push the top of the motor forward.
When set properly, the spur gear can be spun freely
with very little noise. Make sure to tighten both motor
screws and replace the gear cover before running.
