    Step 2. Install the slide rails into the rack. Note: The slide rails are extensible as shown in the following illustration. Figure 4. Slides Select the first slide rail you want to install. Ensure that the slide rail is shortened to the shortest position. From the front of the rack cabinet, line up the pins on the rear of the slide rail with the flange holes at the rear of the rack.

    Installing the ThinkAgile CP storage block To install the ThinkAgile CP Storage Block in a rack, do the following: Step 1. Install the rails in the rack. Attention: • You can install the rails into the racks with square holes or round holes. Each rail comes with four screw pins used for round holes preinstalled.

    Step 2. Install the ThinkAgile CP storage enclosure. CAUTION: Ensure that at least two people lift and install the enclosure together. Remove both of the side covers on the enclosure by grasping and pulling out the bottom of each side cover, and then pulling it straight up. Figure 13.

Disregard this procedure if you are not including a top-of-rack switch in your solution. This section describes how to install the RackSwitch G7052 top-of-rack switch in a standard 19‐inch equipment rack using the mounting kit included with the switch.
