SAFETY INFORMATION
• Hold the trigger handle securely with both hands. Expect the trigger handle to move when the
trigger is pulled due to reaction forces. Failure to do so could cause loss of control and injury
to yourself and others.
• Never attempt to make any adjustments while the engine (motor) is running (except where

• Do not touch the spark plug and ignition cable when starting and operating the engine.
• Check fuel hoses and joints for looseness and fuel leakage before each use.
• Check bolts and nuts for looseness before each use. A loose bolt or nut may cause serious
engine problems.
• Always refuel outdoors. Never refuel indoors or in a poorly ventilated area.
• Never store the machine with fuel in the fuel tank inside a building where ignition sources are
present, such as hot water and space heaters, clothes dryers, and the like.
• If the fuel tank has to be drained, do this outdoors into a container approved for gasoline and
away from all ignition sources.

• Do not smoke while handling fuel.
• Add fuel before starting the engine. Never remove the cap of the fuel tank or add fuel while
the engine is running or when the engine is hot.
• Loosen fuel cap slowly to release pressure and to keep fuel from escaping around the cap.
• Replace all fuel tank and container caps securely.
• Wipe spilled fuel from the unit. Move 30 feet away from refueling site before starting engine.
• If fuel is spilled, do not attempt to start the engine but move the machine away from the area
of spillage and avoid creating any source of ignition until fuel vapors have dissipated.
• Never attempt to burn off spilled fuel under any circumstances.
• Before storing, allow the pressure washer to cool for 30 minutes and drain fuel from the unit.
• Store fuel in a cool, well-ventilated area, safely away from spark and/or flame-producing
equipment.

• Empty fuel tank and restrain the unit from moving before transporting in a vehicle.
