TH2512 RS-485 operation manual
The instrument adopts 9600 baud rate without odd-even check, 10-bit asynchronous
communication mode of 1 start bit(0) ,8 data bit and 1 stop bit(1).
Bus installing instruction: (TO SETUP RS-232 BUS)
A. Turn off TH2512/2512A power,and insert one terminal of RS-485 interface into
RS-232 interface socket on the rear panel of instrument, and the other to the
RS-485 bus.

The function of RS-485 interface is available after the instrument being turned on.
Command setup:
The command is the key content of TH2512/TH2512A remote-control which can
control when and how to start testing and send data to bus etc. The command is listed
as below:
RANGE COMMANDS:
R0:Range auto(start value).
R1~R9: Range 1~9(TH2512:20mΩ bin~2MΩ bin,TH2512A:200Ω bin~200kΩ
bin ,so TH2512A doesn't accept command R1 and R9 ).。
RF: Range hold.
SET COMMANDS:
S0: Slow (start value).
S1: Fast
S2: Sorting ON.
S3: Sorting OFF (start value).
S4: Resistance value (start value).
S5: Percentage deviation value.
S6: Constant trigger(start value).
S7: Single or external trigger.
S8: Correction ON。
S9: Correction OFF (start value).
SP:RS232 Print ON
START COMMAND:
G: Start(trigger)
Require Data Command:
?:Query sending the test result.
Limit setup command
Nnnnnn:nominal value,such as:N01900,it means nominal value is 1.900m when the
range is 20m
Lnnn:Low limit value,such as:L090,it means low limit value is -9.0%
Hnnn:High limit value,such as L090,it means high limit value is +9.0%
Note:These command characters can only be expressed by capital letter.
