7-4. Remote Interlock Connector
This connector functions as safety device for the projector. The contacts are normally closed. When an abnormality
occurs, the contacts open to immediately stop the projector (interlock state) (shipped with a shorting wire installed).
By replacing the shorting wire with wiring and attaching it to the contacts, the projector can be immediately stopped
remotely when an abnormality occurs in the projector.
Follow the following procedure to recover from the interlock state.
1. Disconnect the AC power supply to the projector body.
2. Remove the plate inlet or side panel (page 17, 31).
3. Connect the contacts to the remote interlock connector and attach the plate inlet or side panel.
4. Connect the AC power supply to the projector body.

• The remote interlock terminal is equipped on inside of the side cover.
Remove the plate inlet or side panel for connection.
• Securely reinstall the plate inlet or side panel.
