Removing the front wheel

Preparatory work
–
Raise the motorcycle with the lift stand. (
Main work
–
Press the brake caliper onto the brake disc by hand in order to
push back the brake pistons.
Info
Make sure that you do not press the brake caliper
against the spokes when pushing back the brake
pistons.

Loosen screw by several rotations.

Loosen screws .

Press on screw to push the wheel spindle out of the axle
clamp.

Remove screw 1 .
Warning
Danger of accidents Damaged brake discs reduce the
braking effect.

Always lay the wheel down in such a way that the
brake disc is not damaged.
–
Holding the front wheel, withdraw the wheel spindle. Take the
front wheel out of the fork.
Info
Do not pull the hand brake lever when the front wheel
is removed.
