Start Windows and insert the attached CD-ROM into the host computer’s CD-ROM drive. When the opening window is displayed, select Install the Printer and then select Install the RP90 Driver. Sharing a Printer on a Network Connection Before adding a RP90 printer to be shared on a network, check to make sure that access to the PC connected to the printer is possible. Start Windows and insert the attached CD-ROM into the host computer CD-ROM drive. Double-click “uninstall.exe” on the CD-ROM to launch the printer driver uninstaller (RP90 Support CD\Driver\uninstall.exe). When the following dialog box appears, click Next. Page 24: Updating The Printer Driver
Updating the Printer Driver To update to a newer printer driver, the old driver must be removed before the new one is installed. Refer to “Removal of the Printer Driver” on page 17 and “Installing the Printer Driver” on page 1 for the necessary procedures.
