About MediaStore 5000 series drive startup

Unless otherwise selected during installation, all drives in the MediaStore will automatically start upon
power-up. If this has not occurred, there may be a power problem (an alarm and power fault indication
would normally be active).
Note that if there is only one Power Cooling Module present, the drive will spin up in a delayed sequence.
Each drive carrier incorporates a green LED () and an amber LED (). In normal operation, the green LED
will be ON and will flicker as the drive operates.

Verifying connectivity on a MediaPort 7000

After you have completed the Spectrum system installation, use the front panel LCD display on the
MediaPort 7000 to verify connectivity and to configure a static SMPTE RP219 color bar pattern on any of
the SDI output connectors.
The color bars can be displayed in any of the formats supported by the MediaPort or the ChannelPort
module.
1. Ensure the LCD panel is on the default status screen, and then press the panel until it turns red. The
Navigation panel will display, as shown in the following figure.
