Getting started with navigation
Road Classification
The navigation classifies different roads on the map
by the following colors.
Primary Roads
Secondary Roads
Local Roads
Pedestrian Roads
GPS Not Found
When you first start your unit, you will hear the
message "Signal too low". This message means that
your unit hasn't yet located a reliable GPS signal.
Check that your unit is connected and has a clear
view of the sky. If after five minutes, you have not
located a reliable signal, go to the "Support-Hotline"
section on the page 78.
Please check that:
• The unit has a clear view of the sky for
uninterrupted GPS reception. The unit cannot
calculate the route if there is no GPS reception
(for example, in a tunnel).
• The unit is charged or connected to the cigarette
lighter.
