Getting started with navigation
What's on the Map?
When you tap the Map button on the Navigation
menu screens, the Main Map screen appears. You
can use the icons displayed on this screen to view
your route.
Directions Bar
When you have calculated a route, the Directions bar
displays information about your next turn. Click this
bar for a complete list of turn-by-turn directions.
Your current location.
Shows your current location while in navigation
mode.
Your last known location when the GPS signal is
unreliable.
Zoom Out button
Reduce the map level.
Zoom In button
Enlarge the map level.
Compass
The Compass displays the travel direction.
Menu Button
GPS-Generated Information
The GPS-Generated Information bar is a toggle
button that displays the remaining travel distance and
travel time, and speed and altitude, and street name
and address number.
Mute
The generated route.
Your selected destination.
