Keyless Entry - Fleetwood Discovery Owner's Manual

KEYLESS ENTRY

The keyless entry system is
operated by the keypad on the
exterior grab handle or by using
lock/unlock feature on the ignition
key.
Up to four different access codes
can be assigned to the keypad.
New access codes will over-write
old codes. For example, if a new
access code is assigned for access
code #3, the previous access
#3 code is no longer valid. For
security purposes, refer to the
keyless entry OEM manual for
programming access codes.
NOTE:
The distance the ignition
key will lock or unlock is
approximately 50 feet. The
chassis battery disconnect
switch must be on to lock
or unlock the entry door or
bay doors.
Lock Doors with the
Keypad:
An access code is not needed to
lock the entry door and bay doors.
Press and hold the Lock
‹
button (#1) until the entry
door locks (approximately
2 seconds) then release the
button.
Within 5 seconds, press
‹
and release the Lock button
again to lock select bay
doors.
NOTE:
Not all bay doors are
equipped with the remote
lock feature. The ignition
key will need to be used to
lock or unlock bay doors
not equipped with the
remote lock feature.

NOTE:
If the system beeps 3 times,
a bay door is not properly
closed.
Unlocking Doors with the
Keypad:
After personal access
‹
code(s) are assigned
(see OEM keyless entry
manual), enter a 5-digit
access code.
Within 5 seconds, press
‹
and release the Lock button
(#1) to unlock the entry
door and if equipped,
disarm the security system
indicated by two beeps and
marker lights flash twice.
Within 5 seconds, press
‹
and release button #2 to
unlock the bay doors.
The keypad will not enable
‹
a secure function (unlock)
if the incorrect access code,
wrong button(s) or no
button is pressed.
Unlock Lock

Ignition key
Discovery, Discovery LXE, Pace Arrow, and
Lock Doors with the
Ignition Key
Press and release the Lock
button. The entry door
will lock.
Within 5 seconds, press
‹
and release the lock button
again to lock the bay doors.
Unlocking Doors with
Ignition Key:
Press and release the
‹
Unlock button. The entry
door will unlock. The
marker lights will flash.
Within 5 seconds, press
‹
and release the Unlock
button to unlock bay doors.
NOTE:
Use of the entry door
deadbolt along with
door lock will reduce
unauthorized entrance into
motorhome.
NOTE:
For security purposes,
refer to the keyless entry
OEM manual for Access
and Authority code
information.
WARNING:
Ensure possession of entry
door keys prior to testing
new personal code.
NOTE:
During any service work,
it is recommended all
key fobs be left with the
motorhome for testing
procedures.
