Connecting the TV

Connect this unit between a TV and AV component. Connection method between this unit and the TV differs depending on how this unit is connected to AV component,
whether the TV is equipped with an HDMI jack, and whether the TV supports the ARC (Audio Return Channel) function or not. The ARC function transmits the audio
signals of the TV via an HDMI cable, and plays the audio of the TV on this unit.
• To check if the TV supports the ARC function, refer to the instruction manual of the TV, etc.
Does the AV component connected to this unit support the HDMI output?
„ The TV is equipped with an HDMI jack, and supports
the ARC function.
• To ARC TV ( p23)
„ The TV is equipped with an HDMI jack, and does not
support the ARC function.
