3.2.1 CONTROLS

DO NOT force the equipment controls past their stopping points.
The Prometheus Controls are shown in Figures 3-3 and 3-4 and are defined in Tables 3-1 and 3-2. The
ITEM NO. columns indicate the numbers used to identify items in the figures.
NOTE:
Various display symbols indicating the current operating state of the Prometheus Can be displayed
permanently, may appear momentarily, or can be set to appear only when a certain function is
activated.

Focuses the objective lens. Adjusts for sharpest view of the scene.
The total focus range is covered with three quarter turns of the lens.
Configures operational settings. See Table 3-2 for button functions.
Turns the device ON and OFF.
Adjusts the eyepiece diopter. The total diopter adjustment range is
covered with 2 turns of the ring.
Indicates the selected image palette.
