Starting Trouble

Problem / Symptom
Engine Will Not Crank
Engine Cranks but Will Not Start

Discharged battery
Blown fuse
Defective starter motor
Loose wiring connections
Electrical panel power circuit
breaker is tripped
No fuel to engine
No fuel to cylinders
Low ambient temperature
Oil high

Charge / replace battery
Replace fuse
See your authorized Yanmar dealer

Tighten connections
Reset circuit breaker
Check fuel level in tank

Check fuel filter / water separator
Clean or replace clogged fuel fine
filter
Bleed air from fuel system
Replace blown fuse (F3)
