4. Move the throttle control lever
slightly to the left.
5. Pull the starter grip lightly until
you feel resistance, then pull
briskly in the direction of the
arrow as shown.
Hold the handle with your left
hand and start the engine by
pulling out the recoil starter
vigorously.
Do not allow the starter grip to
snap back against the engine.
Return it gently to prevent
damage to the starter.
6. As the engine warms up,
gradually open the choke.
