This guarantee applies in lieu of any other guarantee expressed or implied and variations of its terms are not authorised. Your Draper guarantee is not effective unless you can produce upon request a dated receipt or invoice to verify your proof of purchase within the 12 month period.

ADDED SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Keep the machine away from children. 2. Always remove the plug from the socket before carrying out adjustment, servicing or maintenance. 3. The hedge trimmer must always be held with both hands. 4. Before using the hedge trimmer clear the work area of any foreign objects that could cause a hazard.

UNPACKING: After removing the packing material, make sure the product is in perfect condition and that there are no visible damaged parts.
OPERATION AND USE It is highy recommended that this machine is used in FIG.2 conjunction with an RCD (Residual current device) Draper Stock No.69307. TWO PART SAFETY SWITCH (Fig.2): To switch the hedge trimmer on, both the safety switches must be operated together.

OPERATION AND USE USING CABLE CLAMP (Figs.3 & 4): FIG.3 To help prevent damage to the cable. The handle has a cable clamp. Gather a small loop in the cable near the handle end. Pass this through the hole in the under side of the handle and loop it around peg (E).
1. Remove all debris from the cutting blade using a wire brush or other suitable tool. 2. Using an enviromentaly friendly oil (Draper Stock No. 58670) lubricate the cutting blade. 3. Operate the cutting blades to allow the oil to work into the blades.
