In Western Europe, the Digital Colour MFP market will increase steadily in the next 4
years, with a stronger ratio in the A4
2010-2014).
The overall Digital Monochrome MFPs will also grow, but only in the A4 part of it
(+23% in 2010-2014), while the A3 devices will start to decline

The largest A4 colour MFP segment in 2009 was the entry-level 1–10ppm, accounting
for 45% of all A4 colour MFP shipments, but its year-on-year growth has reached its
peak. The A3 models in this speed segment only accounted for 3% of the total
shipments in 2009. The second largest segment was the 11–20ppm, accounting for
34% of all A4 colour MFP shipments. This split between A4 models vs A3 models in
2009 was 72% vs 28%.
In the 21–30ppm segment, A3 MFP products accounted for 77% of all 21-30ppm
colour MFP shipments in 2009. However, the A4 models are increasing quite steadily in
terms of market acceptance in medium to large businesses and their year-on-year
growth is extraordinary in this segment
