Use the sender (switch to "TONE"): Connect the test leads to the subject pair, using the Receiver touch the wire end with clip lead, reception of tone is an indication of continuity. ATTENTION: DO NOT CONNECT TO ANY ACTIVE AC OR DC CIRCUIT IN THIS MODE. Send TONE: Connect the test leads to the pair, or attach one lead to ground and one lead to either side of the line.
- Page 4 WWW.TMATLANTIC.COM Page 3 of 3 In cases of ready access to bare conductors, Receiver may be used to receive the tone. 4. BATTERY REPLACEMENT Sender battery replacement Remove the battery cabinet cover on the back of the Sender and replace the old one with new 9V battery.
