4.21. Overall Performance Test

Caution
Be careful for scald by hot water
while testing
4.21.1. Temperature test while Keep warm (98 Keep warm setting)
1. Pour rated volume of water into container and boil it. (Check it is boiled.)
2. After switched to Keep warm, measure and check the temperature after 1 hour.
Range of conformity
Between 90 to 100°C, with no continuous boiling.

4.21.2. Dispensing volume test (98 Keep warm setting)
1. Pour rated volume of water into container and go into Keep warm state.
2. Measure the volume approx. 1 hours after going into Keep warm state.
3. Press Dispensing key to the maximum stroke, dispense for 5 seconds and measure the dispensed volume.
Range of conformity
Dispensing volume : 200ml or more (with cord)
Dispensing volume : 130ml or more (without cord)

4.21.3. Boiling time test (98 Keep warm setting)

1. Pour rated volume of water into container and boil it.
2. Measure the time after starting strong steaming until Keep warm lamp lights on.
Range of conformity
Normal boiling time is 90 seconds or less.
4.21.4. Long boil/Reboil time test (98 Keep warm setting)
1. Pour rated volume of water into container and go into Long boil/Reboil mode by pressing Long boil/Reboil key
(Long boil/Reboil key blinks)
2. After LCD displays 100°C, measure the time until Long boil/Reboil lamp lights on.
Range of conformity
Time of Long boil/Reboil shall be 6 to 9 minutes.
4.21.5. Washing with citric acid time test
1. Pour rated volume of water and boil it.
Keep warm lamp lights on after LCD displays 100°C.
2. Adjust the mark to the position of Washing of LCD by selection key.
3. Measure the time until Keep warm/Reboil lamp,
Range of conformity
Citric acid washing time shall be 15 to 18 minutes.
