Cleaning and Care
All parts except for the capsule plate and the plastic drip tray cover are dish-
washer safe.
Before use:
^ Be sure to enter the water hardness, see "Settings - Water hardness" in the Op-
erating Instructions.
Regular maintenance:
^ Follow all maintenance instructions as they appear in the display.
^ Following the in-
structions for
cleaning the ap-
pliance exterior
in the Operating
Instructions.
^ Clean the capsule carousel and car-
ousel tray in the dishwasher.
^ Clean all parts of
the drip tray.
^ Wipe out the drip
tray on the inside
of the door.
^ Clean the carou-
sel niche, espe-
cially the sensors
and recess in the
floor.
^ Wipe any soiling
from the inside of
the machine with
a damp cloth.
^ Clean the coffee
dispenser cover
in the dish-
washer.
