1. Headlight bulb socket

3. Position light bulb
6. Remove headlight bulb socket and
then remove the burnt-out bulb.
7. Place a new headlight bulb into
position, and then secure it with
bulb socket.

NOTICE:
3 If a headlight bulb of different watt-
age than recommended is used, it
may cause the battery to discharge
or affect the headlight lighting.

8. Install the headlight unit by
installing the screws.
9. Install the headlight side cover by
installing screws.
10. Have a Yamaha dealer adjust the
headlight beam if necessary.
Position light bulb.
1. Place the motorcycle on the center-
stand.
2. Remove the headlight side cover
by removing screws.
3. Remove head light mounting bolt.
4. Remove head light adjusting bolt
5. Remove head light from head light
stay.

1. Position light bulb socket
6. Remove the position light bulb socket
(together with the bulb) by pulling out.
7. Insert a new bulb into the socket by
pushing it until it stop.
8. Install the socket (together with the
bulb) by pushing it.
9. Install the headlight side cover by
installing the screws.
