child restraints. Under no circum-
stances are they to be used for adult
seat belts, harnesses or for attaching
other items or equipment to the ve-

For easy installation of child restraints,
your vehicle has two child restraint an-
chorages under the rear seat cushion.
When installing a child restraint, follow
both the instructions here and those pro-
vided by the manufacturer of your child
restraint.
CHILD RESTRAINT ANCHOR FITTING
You can purchase a child restraint anchor
fitting package from your Toyota dealer.
The anchor fitting package consists of:
• 80It-5/16" 18 UNC x 30 mm (1.2 in.)
• Lock washer-1.6 mm (0.06 in.)
thickness
• Anchor fitting-this conforms to
ADR34/01.
• Spacers-5 mm (0.2 in.) and 10 mm
(0.4 in.)
