Auxiliary box
(on some models)
To
use the
auxiliary
box,
open
as
shown in the illustration.
&
CAUTION
• To reduce the chance of injury in
case of an accident or a sudden
stop, always keep the auxiliary box
closed while driving .
• As this box is designed for holding
light objects such as eyeglasses, do
not place any heavy objects in it.
Heavy objects may cause the box to
open and the contents to fly out
resulting in injuries.

NOTICE
+In hot weather, the interior of the
vehicle becomes very hot. Do not
leave anything flammable or de-
formable such as a lighter, glasses,
etc. inside.
+ Take
care
when
placing
sharp-
edged objects in the auxiliary box,
as they may scratch or damage the
inner surface of the compartment.
Cup holders
The cup holder is designed for holding
cups or drink-cans securely. Your ve-
hicle is equipped with several types of
cup holders. To use them, observe the
following instructions.

CAUTION
• Type A: Do not put bottles in the
cup holder while driving. Doing so
may block the driver's view.
• Type B, C and 0: Do not put bottles
in the cup holders while driving.
Doing so may obstruct use of other
functions.
• Do not place anything else other
than cups or drink-cans in the cup
holder,
as
such
items
may
be
thrown about in the compartment
and possibly injure people in the
vehicle during a sudden braking or
in an accident.
• Type
A
and
E:
To
reduce
the
chance of injury in case of an acci-
dent or a sudden stop while driv-
ing, keep the cup holder closed
when it is not in use.
