flange, spacer and spinner bulkhead.
b.
Position aft spinner bulkhead between propeller
and spacer, and drive dowel pins into position to at-
tach propeller, spacer and spinner bulkhead.
Bulk-
head must be positioned so that propeller blades
emerge with ample clearance.

Be sure magneto switch is in OFF position
before turning crankshaft.
c.
Locate top center of number one piston on its
compression stroke. Align the top center mark on
the crankshaft flange with parting surface of the
crankcase below the crankshaft.
d. With propeller blades in vertical position, rotate
blGldes 30 degrees clockwise (looking aft).
e. On aircraft serials 15072004 thru 15075781,
A15000227 thru A15000523, F15000659 thru F15001143
and FA 15000082 and on proceed as follows:
SHOP NOTES:
1. Install propeller on crankshaft flange and
tighten bolts evenly and torque to 300-360 lb-in.
2.
Safety wire propeller mounting bolts (10).
Do not allow safety wire to cross the top of bolt heads
as this would interfere with the installation of forward
spinner bulkhead and shims.
3. Install forward bulkheGld and spinner. Add
shims as required (maximum of 4) behind forward
bulkhead to provide a snug fit between bulkhead and
spinner when the rear bulkhead attachment holes are
aligned.

Beginning with aircraft serials 15075782,
A1500524 and F15001144, proceed as follows:
1. Install propeller on crGlnkshaft flange.
2. Install forward spinner bulkhead, tighten bolts
evenly and torque to 300-360 lb-in.
3.
Safety wire propeller mounting bolts.
Safety
wire must be installed around bolt heads and not over
bolt heads.
4. Install spinner.
