Checking the coolant level

Checking the coolant level
Check the cooant level in the expansion
tank.
This must be checked with the motor
switched off.
The expansion tank must be about half
full.

Topping up the cooling system
Top up if necessary.
Run the motor slowly when topping up.
The internal cooling system can be filled
with a mixture of anti-freeze (40 %) and tap
water (60 %) or with a special coolant. For
specification, see page :37.

Maintenance

Never fill the cooling sys-
tem with sea water or
brackish water.
