Once the auto-configuration is done (a few minutes, depending on the number of serial
ports), the following desktop is displayed:

A visual check that the software detected the radio modem during auto-configuration can be
done by clicking on the COM1 node. The radio modem should appear as a child node in the
Tree window:
The radio modem is now ready to be tested and configured with the different options of the
MTC software. Those options are described below.
