Bluetooth connection
CarLink supports Bluetooth and you can pair your smartphone
to make hands-free phone calls and play music from your
smartphone.
Pairing for the first time (when not under mirroring)
1. Enter the Bluetooth connection menu and the system will
automatically search for nearby available devices. If the search
icon stops and your device is still not discovered, tap Search
to start search again.
When using an iOS or Android 6.0 or above smartphone, enter the Bluetooth settings screen on your smartphone to allow the

2. Tap the smartphone you want to pair, and tap Agree when prompted on your smartphone. Do not close the paring screen or
lock your smartphone before the pairing process is complete. If the prompt screen does not appear on your Android smartphone,
drag the notification panel down from the top of the screen and tap the pairing information.
3. After pairing, the name of your smartphone will be displayed as Paired Device on the list.
4. If you want to disconnect a smartphone, tap the name of the smartphone, then tap
tap the name of the disconnected smartphone.
5. If you want to unpair a smartphone, tap More next to the name of the smartphone, tap Forget this device, then tap
pop-up window. To pair the smartphone again, repeat the above steps 1 and 2.
6. After setting up the Bluetooth connection, your smartphone will automatically connect to your CarLink whenever it is in range.
