1. Getting to know your CarLink

1.1 Panel layout

Power button
Press this button to turn the system on or off. Press this button
for two (2) seconds to turn the system off. Press this button for
one (1) second to turn off the display (press the power, home, or
back button to turn the display back on).
Home button
Press this button to return to the home screen.
Back button
Press this button to return to the previous screen.
HDMI port
This port is reserved for mirroring the display and audio of iOS
devices only.

Mute button
Press this button to enter or exit mute mode.
Volume up button
Press this button to turn the volume up or exit mute mode.
Volume down button
Press this button to turn the volume down or exit mute mode.
USB port
This port allows you to connect USB flash drives and play media
files from it. You can also connect a USB cable to this port and
connect your smartphone to mirror the display and touchscreen
functions. Display and touchscreen mirroring support varies per
model.
