NOTE:
• Before you can use touchscreen input mirroring, go to Google Play and install CarLink
You can also connect your smartphone to the CarLink head unit through a USB cable and follow the
onscreen prompt to install the app, you will need to remove the USB cable and reconnect it again to enable
touchscreen input mirroring.
• Touchscreen input mirroring is not supported on iOS devices, therefore CarLink app is not available in iOS.
• For the best user experience, use a smartphone running Android 5.0 or above and use the USB cable that came with
your smartphone. If touchscreen input mirroring is not working properly, you can try using a different smartphone to
test whether this feature is functioning or not.
• Unlock your smartphone before using touchscreen input mirroring.
• To be able to stream audio on the CarLink from your phone, pair your smartphone via Bluetooth before mirroring. If
your smartphone is not paired, the CarLink will guide you in the pairing process.
• Prioritize using the CarLink screen for touchscreen inputs, operating touchscreen inputs on the smartphone might
disable touchscreen input mirroring.
• If you encounter connection or touchscreen input mirroring issues, disconnect and reconnect the USB cable.
• Log in to your account on your smartphone before connecting it to the CarLink. To protect your personal information,
a black screen will be displayed on the CarLink and touchscreen input mirroring function will not be available before
you log in to your account.
