1. Locate the battery compartment underneath the unit as shown in Figure A. Slide open the battery door and then carefully disconnect the power cable underneath the XV-7 Microlite II as shown in the photo (Figure B). Do not pull the battery by the wires as the wires may break off of the battery housing.

GOING TO FLIGHT SCHOOL • FLIGHT EXERCISES Try some of the following flight exercises to practice flying your XV-7 Microlite II under controlled conditions before attempting to fly outside or with faster speeds. 1. TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS Check to make sure the power switch is in the ON position. If set to OFF, move to the ON position. Check to make sure the batteries are installed correctly. Check to make sure they match the polarity markings. If the batteries are installed correctly, they may be exhausted.

Flying in extreme heat or cold can adversely affect your flying control and response of the vehicle. After connecting the battery, lay the XV-7 Microlite II on the ground. Please wait for approximately 5-7 seconds to allow the digital gyro to electronically stabilize. Push the throttle up and then back down to pair the radio control transmitter to the XV-7 Microlite II.
