To manually enter a new strip lot on an Accu-Chek Inform II code key reader, follow these steps:

1. Open the Main Menu screen.
2. Select "Strip Lots" to access the related menu.
3. Touch "Add" to enter a new test strip lot from a new code key.
4. Insert the new code key into the code key reader.
5. The LED on the reader will flash green, indicating it is ready to transfer data.
6. The reader remains ready to send data for a few seconds after transmission, allowing multiple meters to receive the data without reinserting the code key.

This completes the manual entry of a new strip lot using the code key reader.
