To verify SCK validity for TMO, press Select. The display will
show one of the following messages:
• TMSCK is Valid — your MTM800 Enhanced can work
encrypted in TMO.
• TMSCK is Invalid — your MTM800 Enhanced cannot
work encrypted in TMO. Please call your Service Provider
to restore SCKs to your MTM800 Enhanced.
DMSCK Validity
From the main menu, select > Security > DMSCK Validity.
SCK (Static Cipher Key) is a secret key the infrastructure
uses to encrypt call and data in the system. Air interface
encryption provides service confidentiality between your
MTM800 Enhanced and the system. Your MTM800
Enhanced should be provided with a set of SCKs.
To verify SCK validity for DMO, press Select. The display will
show one of the following messages:
• DMSCK is Valid — your MTM800 Enhanced can work
encrypted in DMO.
• DMSCK is Invalid — your MTM800 Enhanced cannot
work encrypted in DMO. Please call your Service Provider
to restore SCKs to your MTM800 Enhanced.
DMO SCK
From the main menu, select > Security > DMO SCK.
Key version is displayed when you select the option.
Air Interface encryption provides service confidentiality
between your MTM800 Enhanced operating in Direct Mode
and another terminal or a group of terminals operating in
Direct Mode.
You can change the current key, if the key change operation
is allowed by your Service Provider.
To change the key, if not in a call, select Next. The display
will show the following message: Change to version...
