Appendix A: Managing your handsets

Registering your handset - If you want to add your handset to another base staton, or f you purchase an addtonal
handset for your current base staton, you wll need to regster your handset wth the base staton you wsh to use. If you
have addtonal base statons n your home, unplug them whle regsterng your handset to your man base staton.
To regster your handset wth a base staton, hold down the page button on your base staton for 5 seconds, after whch
the PSTN and VoIP LEDs will flash alternately. Press the left soft key to open the MENU, select BASE SETUP, then
select REGISTER. Pck a base number to assgn the new base staton to, then enter the PIN number of the base
staton you wsh to use (the default s 0000). The handset wll then regster tself to the base. The handset's number
wll appear at the top rght of your dsplay under the battery lfe con.
Selecting a base - If you have multple base statons regstered to the same handset, you can change whch base to
use wth the handset by selectng SELECT BASE, then selectng whch base you want to use.
