    Open Mediator from the shortcut on the desktop “and replace with “ the NetJet Software will automatically start up when the 4040 controller is started. Click on the “New Message” icon. Give the message a name and click “OK” Select Print head/Heads and Print head type, and then click “OK”.

Place a level in the center of the ink delivery system, check both front to back and side to side. Level tolerance can be +- 10 degrees side-to-side and +-5 degrees front to back.

    Imaje 4040 5. Ink Jet System Set Up Priming Quick Priming Note!: Once the print head has been initially primed an occasional quick prime 2-3 pumps is necessary to clear a nozzle. To perform this quick prime, it is not necessary to remove the nozzle protector plate.
  • Page 48 Imaje 4040 5. Ink Jet System Set Up Close the air valve on the priming pump by rotating clockwise. Pump the priming pump continuously for 10 seconds. Be sure to turn the air valve back counter clockwise to release the pressure when finished priming.

The vacuum pump is necessary to remove trapped air bubbles from tubing and inside the print head.
