Vehicle Seat Belt Systems

WARNING:
• Check your vehicle owner's manual for information about
car seat compatible seat belts, seating positions, and LATCH
positions.
• NEVER use this seat with a seat belt or seating position
where it cannot be installed and adjusted according to the
instructions for that mode.
• NEVER use this seat with any vehicle seat belt system listed
in the "Unsafe Vehicle Belt Systems" section
The information below applies only to installation using vehicle seat belt.
Important:
• NEVER use this car seat in Booster Mode with a lap belt only.
• Some vehicles do not have any seating positions that are compatible
with a car seat. Read vehicle owner's manual to determine seating
position and vehicle belt car seat compatibility. Contact the vehicle
manufacturer if you have any doubts or questions.
• This child restraint can be installed securely in most vehicles using the
seat belt. The following information identifi es the vehicle belts that this
child restraint can and cannot be used with.
SAFE vehicle seat belt systems:
Lap/shoulder belts with locking latch plate.
Lap/shoulder belt with sliding latch plate. Most
lap/shoulder belts with sliding latch plates can be
switched into locking mode by fully extending the
belt, after which the belt can retract, but will not
extend. Check your vehicle owners manual for more
information about your specifi c vehicle. If your
vehicle belt cannot be switched to locking mode
and you cannot achieve a secure installation, you
may need a locking clip: please contact our
