Fcc compliance

Thisdevicecomplieswithpart15oftheFCCRules.Operationis
subjecttothefollowingtwoconditions:(1)thisdevicemaynotcause
harmfulinterference,and(2)thisdevicemustacceptanyinterference
received,includinginterferencethatmaycauseundesiredoperation.
Thisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsfor
aClassBdigitaldevice,pursuanttopart15oftheFCCrules.These
limitsaredesignedtoprovidereasonableprotectionagainstharmful
interferenceinaresidentialinstallation.Thisequipmentgenerates,
uses,andcanradiateradiofrequencyenergyandmaycauseharmful
interferencetoradiocommunicationsifnotinstalledandusedin
accordancewiththeinstructions.However,thereisnoguaranteethat
interferencewillnotoccurinaparticularinstallation.Ifthisequipment
doescauseharmfulinterferencetoradioortelevisionreception,which
canbedeterminedbyturningtheequipmentoffandon,theuseris
encouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterferencebyoneofthefollowing
measures:
• Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.
• Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandthereceiver.
• Connecttheequipmentintoanoutletthatisonadifferentcircuit
fromtheGPSunit.
• Consultthedealeroranexperiencedradio/TVtechnicianforhelp.
Thisproductdoesnotcontainanyuser-serviceableparts.Repairs
shouldonlybemadebyanauthorizedGarminservicecenter.
Unauthorizedrepairsormodificationscouldresultinpermanent
damagetotheequipment,andvoidyourwarrantyandyourauthorityto
operatethisdeviceunderPart15regulations.

Limited Warranty
Garmin'snon-aviationproductsarewarrantedtobefreefromdefects
inmaterialsorworkmanshipforoneyearfromthedateofpurchase.
Withinthisperiod,Garminwill,atitssoleoption,repairorreplaceany
componentsthatfailinnormaluse.Suchrepairsorreplacementwillbe
madeatnochargetothecustomerforpartsorlabor,providedthatthe
customershallberesponsibleforanytransportationcost.Thiswarranty
doesnotapplyto:(i)cosmeticdamage,suchasscratches,nicks
anddents;(ii)consumableparts,suchasbatteries,unlessproduct
damagehasoccurredduetoadefectinmaterialsorworkmanship;
(iii)damagecausedbyaccident,abuse,misuse,water,flood,fire,or
otheractsofnatureorexternalcauses;(iv)damagecausedbyservice
performedbyanyonewhoisnotanauthorizedserviceproviderof
Garmin;(v)damagetoaproductthathasbeenmodifiedoraltered
withoutthewrittenpermissionofGarmin;or(vi)damagetoaproduct
thathasbeenconnectedtopowerand/ordatacablesthatarenot
suppliedbyGarmin.Inaddition,Garminreservestherighttorefuse
warrantyclaimsagainstproductsorservicesthatareobtainedand/
orusedincontraventionofthelawsofanycountry.Thisproductis
intendedtobeusedonlyasatravelaidandmustnotbeusedforany
purposerequiringprecisemeasurementofdirection,distance,location
ortopography.Garminmakesnowarrantyastotheaccuracyor
completenessofmapdatainthisproduct.
