RECORDING A MEMO

A memo is a message you can record at
the TAD, without having to call in on a
phone. You can record a memo in any of
the mailboxes.
Notes:
• The maximum memo length is 60
seconds.
• If the TAD's memory is full (
appears on the display), you must
delete some messages before you
can record a memo (see "Deleting
Messages").
Follow these steps to record a memo.
1. Press and release
(record) appears on the display.

2. Press and hold down the selected
mailbox button. The TAD beeps.
Speak into the microphone in a
normal voice. The display shows
how much time is left for recording.

Note: If you do not press the mail-
box button within 8 seconds, the
TAD beeps three times and you
must begin again at Step 1.
3. Release the mailbox button when

you finish recording the memo. The
TAD beeps once and the message
number indicator increases by one.
The memo is recorded along with the in-
coming messages. To hear the memo,
simply play back the messages in that
mailbox.
