8 TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
The pump does not work
Low capacity or pressure

POSSIBLE REASON
No power supply.
The pump wheel stalls.
The lubricant level detector has been
activated.
Not enough Shims under shoes.
Air leak at the inlet of the pump.
Valve closed or partly closed at inlet.
Worn hose.
Material too viscous or excessive pump
speed in comparison with the material
viscosity.
Piping blocked or partly blocked at inlet.

RESOLUTION
Check that the pump power switch is in
the "ON" position.
Check the motor connection.
Check the hose.
Check that the discharge pressure is not
too high.
Check that the material hasn't blocked the
hose.
Check lubricant level.
Check if the pump hose has burst. Re-
place.
Add the sufficient number of shims.
Check and tighten pump clamps (if nec-
essary).Check inlet piping seals.
Open valve.
Replace hose.
Check with your Wanner distributor.
Unblock piping and ensure good material
flow.
