5-2. Steps to take in an emergency
Follow the correction procedures.
After taking the specified steps to correct the suspected problem,
check that the warning light goes off.

: Driver's and front passenger's seat belt reminders:
The driver's and front passenger's seat belt buzzer sounds to alert the driver
and front passenger that their seat belt is not fastened. The buzzer sounds
for 30 seconds after the vehicle has reached a speed of at least 20 km/h (12
mph). Then, if the seat belt is still unfastened, the buzzer will sound in a dif-
ferent tone for 90 more seconds.

When the remaining fuel is
approximately 4.7 L (1.2
gal., 1.0 Imp. gal.) or less, a
buzzer sounds and the low-
est segment of the fuel

A buzzer sounds and the
warning light comes on and
flashes to indicate that the
master warning system has

Correction procedure
Refuel the vehicle.
Fasten the seat belt.
If the front passenger's
seat is occupied, the front
passenger's seat belt also
needs to be fastened to
make the reminder light
