Con guring Advanced Settings
Allo s you to de ne the Advanced Settings availa le on the router.
WARNING! Incorrectly changing these settings may cause the device to stop functioning. o not modify
the settings in this section ithout a thorough understanding of the parameters.
To vie the Advanced settings, click Wireless then select Advanced.
Frag ent Threshold
Enter the ma imum si e of a packet during data transmission.
A value too lo could lead to lo performance.
RTS Threshold
Enter the RTS threshold. If the packet si e is smaller than the
RTS threshold, the router does not use RTS TS to send the
data packet.
Beacon Interval
Enter the eacon interval. This is the amount of time that the
router sets to synchroni e the net ork.
Delivery Tra c Indication Message (DTIM) Period
Enter the TI period. The TI is a countdo n period informing clients of the ne t point
of roadcast and multicast of messages over the net ork. Valid values are et een 1 and 255.
N Data Rate
Select the
data rate. This is the rate in hich the ESR Series Router ill transmit data packets to ireless
compati le devices.
