Enable Static DHCP IP
There are reasons hy you may ant to ena le a static IP
address on a client device on your ESR router's net ork.
n occasion, if there are po er outages or if you've recon gured
the settings on your ESR router and re oot restart it to apply
the ne settings, the previous IP address that the router's H P
server assigned to one or more devices on the net ork may have
changed. Some client devices on your net ork may also have
e con guration interfaces set top o es, et ork Attached
Storage, etc. that are accessi le from the router's assigned
IP address from its H P server, so the client device can e
managed. Thus if the client device's IP address changes from
time to time, it may e dif cult linking to it unless you nd its
ne address through the ESR router's H P lient Ta le.
If you ish to avoid this, then the Ena le Static H P IP option
allo s you set a static essentially a permanent address for
given client devices on your net ork.
To do so, select the Enable Static DHCP IP option.
IP Address
Enter the IP address of the device to add as a static H P client.
MAC Address
Enter the A address of the device to add as a static H P
client.
lick Add to add the device to the static H P client ta le or
Reset to return the ta le to its previous state.
