Troubleshooting
Symptom
Power does not turn on.
The unit does not operate.
Playback is not possible.
There is no sound.
Cause
The ignition switch is NOT turned ON.
The ignition switch is NOT set to ACC.
The power of the unit is turned OFF.
Noise and other factors are causing the
built-in microprocessor to operate
incorrectly.
The unit does not operate normally.
The disc is dirty.
The loaded disc is a type this unit
cannot play.
The disc is inserted upside down.
The fi les on the disc are an irregular
fi le format.
The volume level is low.
The mute is on.

Correction
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Set the ignition switch to ACC.
Turn the unit on by pressing POWER on
the control panel.
Turn the unit off and then on.
You can reset the unit. Press the RESET
hole with a sharp object.
Clean disc.
Check the type of the disc.
Insert the disc with the label upward.
Check the fi le format.
Adjust the volume.
Turn the mute off.
