Check these questions 1st if you have problems with your
phone:

Answer
The battery level indicator should
show at least 1 bar (segment) of
power. If it does not, recharge
your phone's battery (see
"Charging Your Phone's Battery"
on page 11). If the indicator shows
3 bars, then your phone's battery
is fully charged.
