If no SIM card is present in your
phone, your phone should display
Insert SIM
when it is powered ON .
Ensure that your SIM card is
properly inserted in the SIM card
slot beneath the battery. The
notched corner on the SIM card
and it should match the notched
corner of the SIM card slot. The
metal contacts on the SIM card
should face down and make
contact with the metal contacts in
the slot. Also, when inserting the
SIM card, use the 2 metal guides
in the slot to properly position the
SIM card.
If the SIM card is inserted
properly, but you are still see Insert
SIM
, then contact your service
provider, as your SIM card may be
damaged and may need to be
replaced.
The signal strength indicator
should include at least 1 segment.
If it does not, move to an area with
a stronger signal to use your
phone.
