INSTALLATION Location When selecting a position for your unit you should make sure the floor is flat and firm, and the room is well ventilated with an average room temperature of between 10°C and 43°C. Avoid locating your unit near a heat source, e.g. cooker, boiler or radiator. Also avoid direct sunlight as it may increase the electrical consumption. -

INSTALLATION Cleaning Before Use Wipe the inside of the unit with a weak solution of bicarbonate soda. Then rinse with warm water using a sponge or cloth. Wipe completely dry before replacing the shelves, drawers and salad bin. Clean the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. If you require more information refer to the Cleaning section. -

Operation Connect the mains cable to the mains socket. Before changing any setting, ensure the buttons are unlocked by pressing for 3 seconds. Temperature Setting Fridge temperature setting: • Recommended fridge temperature: 6°C. • Press repeatedly to set the fridge temperature. Freezer temperature setting: • Recommended freezer temperature: -18°C. -

Smart Mode When Smart mode is selected, the temperature of the appliance will be automatically adjusted (fridge temperature will be set to 6°C and freezer temperature will be set to -18°C). • Press repeatedly to select Smart function ( ). The light will be illuminated. Lock and Unlock All buttons are locked if is illuminated. -

Filling the Water Tank You can fill drinking water into the water tank Small lid through either opening the small lid or the large lid. Close the lid after filling. Large lid • Do not fill above the level, otherwise, it may overflow. • Before filling with water, ensure that the water tank is steady and in a correct position. -

Noises Inside the Unit! You may notice that your unit makes some unusual noises. Most of these are perfectly normal, but you should be aware of them! These noises are caused by the circulation of the refrigerant liquid in the cooling system. It has become more pronounced since the introduction of CFC free gases. -
Page 14: Defrosting Frozen Food
• Label your frozen foods as they will look the same when in frozen state. Use special freezer tapes, labels and pens with different colours. This allows you to easily organise and to effectively use the freezer. Write the contents and date; otherwise the frozen food might exceed the storage time and this could cause food poisoning. -
