The encoder is used for getting the actual position, necessary for the cam controller. Only encoders with an SSI interface can be connected to CamCon DC33/X. The SSI interface is a common interface for absolute single and multiturn encoders. The CamCon supplies the measuring system with 24Volt via this interface. -
