For measuring devices ≥ DN 350 (14")
Also observe the following notes during transport:
• Lift the measuring device by the flange using the metal brackets.
• If transporting by forklift, do not lift the sensor by the metal casing. This would buckle
the casing and damage the internal magnetic coils.
5.3

Packaging disposal

All packaging materials are environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable:
• Measuring device secondary packaging: polymer stretch film that conforms to EC
Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS).
• Packaging:
– Wood crate, treated in accordance with ISPM 15 standard, which is confirmed by the
affixed IPPC logo.
or
– Carton in accordance with European Packaging Directive 94/62EC; recyclability is
confirmed by the affixed RESY symbol.
• Seaworthy packaging (optional): Wood crate, treated in accordance with ISPM 15
standard, which is confirmed by the affixed IPPC logo.
• Carrying and mounting hardware:
– Disposable plastic pallet
– Plastic straps
– Plastic adhesive strips
• Dunnage: Paper cushion
