SET UP & USE

USING YOUR BLENDER

1. Before starting, make sure the blender cord is unplugged and
the variable speed dial is in the OFF ( ) position.
2. Set the power base on a clean, dry surface.
3. Place ingredients to be processed into a blending jar. Do not
fill past the MAX marking.
4. Attach blade assembly to the jar. Ensure silicone gasket is
properly seated around the inner edge of the collar. Turn the
blade assembly until tight.
5. Place the blending jar with blade assembly onto the power
base. Ensure the tab underneath the collar aligns with the
groove on power base. Turn the jar clockwise to lock into
place. The jar is locked into place when the
base is aligned with the
CAUTION: Never place blade assembly on the power base
without blending jar properly attached.
IMPORTANT: Do not operate blender with an empty blending jar.
6. Plug the blender into convenient 120V 60 Hz AC-only outlet.
7. The blender has 3 settings: Pulse, MIN and MAX. MIN is best suited for light
blending with liquids. MAX is suited for mixing liquids with solids or thicker liquids.
The blender will run at the selected speed until another speed is selected. Refer to
pages 8 and 9 for blending techniques.
8. For PULSE BLENDING (short bursts of high-speed blending action), turn the
variable speed dial to PULSE (P). The dial will return to the OFF ( ) position as
soon as you release it.
NOTE: Do not run the appliance for more than 1 minute at a time. Allow unit to rest
for at least 3 minutes between maximum blending cycles.
9. When processing is complete, turn the variable speed dial to OFF ( ) and remove
the blending jar by turning counter-clockwise to unlock and lift from the power
base. The jar is unlocked when the

10. If you are finished using your Blender, unplug from the outlet.
11. To serve, twist off the blade assembly. If desired, attach travel lid to the blending
jar.
